Calculation of Kolmogorov Entropy in Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics
In this paper Kolomogorov entropy of a simulated cavity quantum electrodynamics in a multi-partite system consisting of eight quantum dots in interaction with one cavity mode has been estimated. It has been shown that the Kolmogorov Entropy monotonically increases with the increasing coupling strength, which is a sufficient condition for chaotic behavior under ultrastrong coupling regime. The a...
متن کاملArchitecture dependence of photon antibunching in cavity quantum electrodynamics
We investigate numerically the architecture dependence of the characteristics of antibunched photons generated in cavity quantum electrodynamic systems. We show that the quality of antibunching [the smallness of the second-order intensity correlation function at zero time g(2)(0)] and the generation efficiency significantly depend on the configurations: the arrangements of single-mode optical c...
متن کاملSingle-photon all-optical switching using waveguide-cavity quantum electrodynamics
This paper demonstrates switching of a single signal photon by a single gating photon of a different frequency, via a cross-phase-modulation. This effect is mediated by materials exhibiting electromagnetically induced transparency EIT , which are embedded in photonic crystals PhCs . An analytical model based on waveguide-cavity QED is constructed for our system, which consists of a PhC waveguid...
متن کامل1 Photon coincidence spectroscopy for multi – atom cavity quantum electrodynamics
We show that photon coincidence spectroscopy can provide an un-ambiguous signature of two atoms simultaneously interacting with a quantised cavity field mode. We also show that the single–atom Jaynes–Cummings model can be probed effectively via photon coincidence spectroscopy, even with deleterious contributions to the signal from two–atom events. In addition, we have explicitly solved the eige...
متن کاملCavity quantum electrodynamics
The simplest model in quantum optics deals with a single two-level atom interacting with a single mode of the radiation field. This ideal situation is implemented in Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics experiments, using high quality microwave or optical cavities as photon boxes. It provides a test bench for fundamental quantum processes and a promising ground for quantum information processing.
